Anjeev Anjum Honored with the Title “Braj Ghazal Shri”
Under the aegis of Sahitya Mandal Nathdwara Sansthan, a ceremony was organized during the Patotsav Brajbhasha celebration to honor litterateurs, artists, and social workers dedicated to the promotion and advancement of Braj language. The chief guests on the occasion were Shri Basant Singh Solanki, Secretary of the Rajasthan Sahitya Akademi; renowned Rajasthani litterateur Dr. Ravi Purohit; and eminent scholar and storyteller Pandit Madan Mohan Sharma. On this occasion, litterateur and poet Dr. Anjeev Anjum was conferred with the honorary title “Braj Ghazal Shri” for his distinguished contribution to the field of Braj Ghazal.

The Braj Ghazal competition was organized with the courtesy of Mumbai-based Braj language scholar and poet Shri Naveen C. Chaturvedi and with the cooperation of Sahitya Mandal. Anjeev Anjum’s ghazal was selected for this honor in the competition.
Shri Shyam Prakash Devpura, Prime Minister (Head) of the institution, stated that Anjeev Anjum has made remarkable contributions to the field of Braj Ghazal. The dignitaries on the मंच honored him with an image of Lord Shrinathji, a citation certificate, shawl, stole, necklace, coconut (Shriphal), and the sacred prasad of Lord Shrinathji.
Earlier, Anjeev Anjum had also been conferred with the honorary titles of Brajbhasha Vibhushan, Late Shri Bhagwati Prasad Devpura Memorial Bal Sahitya Vibhushan, and Sahitya Sudhakar by the institution. A former member of the Rajasthan Brajbhasha Academy and Bal Sahitya Academy Jaipur, Anjum has 225 published works to his credit. Research studies on his literary contributions have also been proposed at Kota University, Kota, and Kurukshetra University.
